Jon Hart Cable Protector design Final

I’m making an iPhone cable protector. Most iPhone charging cables break right before the lighting plug

The average iPhone owner spends $56 on accessories (CNN) – http://www.cnn.com/2012/09/18/tech/mobile/iphone-5-accessories-makers/

I believe this is way too much to pay and I think the market needs a printable fix to a common problem. With my design, it should cost cents for anyone with a 3D printer to make this cable protector.

My first prototype worked very well but it needs to hold the plug better so I am working on a solution to hold the plug

After my second prototype, The cable fits well, but sizing was a bit off so it did not fit exactly. I think if I had time for a third prototype this problem would be fixed and this could be available to everyone.
